Results develop differently for each client. Treatment suitability, number of sessions, and maintenance needs require individual assessment.

1. Review the complete operating manual and confirm client suitability.
2. Inspect the device, handpieces, cartridges, and cables. Place the unit on a stable surface and connect it to a grounded electrical outlet.
3. Cleanse the skin and map the permitted treatment area, identifying anatomical exclusion zones.
4. Select the appropriate handpiece and cartridge using a verified device-specific protocol.
5. Apply ultrasound coupling gel to maintain complete contact between the applicator and skin.
6. Select validated settings for the treatment area and cartridge. Energy, spacing, and shot counts must follow corrected manufacturer instructions.
7. With standard HIFU, follow the prescribed placement sequence and avoid unintended overlapping exposures.
8. With VMax, maintain full contact and slow, consistent movement. Do not hold the emitting applicator stationary.
9. Monitor the client throughout treatment. Stop for unexpected pain, excessive heat, visible injury, or altered sensation.
10. Provide aftercare instructions and clean the equipment using approved methods.
11. Gentle skincare, SPF 30 or higher, avoiding exfoliation for one week, and avoiding heat and intense exercise for 24–48 hours.

Focused ultrasound can cause burns and nerve injury. Non-invasive application does not eliminate the risk of complications.
The manual lists contraindications or restrictions involving:
• Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and children.
• Menstruation.
• Epilepsy or active cancer.
• Heart disease or pacemakers.
• Metal or silicone implants.
• Active acne, skin infections, open wounds, or recently sutured areas.
• Acute inflammation, fever, or serious illness.
• Blood-clotting disorders.
• Kidney or gallstone disease.
• Untreated medical conditions.
Screen clients taking anticoagulants or other relevant medications and those with recent surgery, vascular conditions, or a history of unusual bruising.
Do not expose the eyes to ultrasound. Avoid the throat, thyroid, ears, genital areas, mucous membranes, and other prohibited areas. Eye-adjacent applications require clarification because the manual contains conflicting instructions.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or bumps may occur. Persistent or worsening symptoms, blistering, severe pain, weakness, or altered sensation require prompt medical assessment.

For appropriately licensed professionals with device specific training in focused ultrasound, facial and body anatomy, client screening, and complication recognition.
Assess tissue thickness, skin condition, medical history, implants, medications, and previous procedures before selecting a cartridge or protocol.
Use only authorized treatment areas and manufacturer-approved accessories. Do not select depth or energy solely from client tolerance.
Recent surgery requires the treating surgeon’s clearance. Device training does not expand the operator’s licensed scope of practice.

• Switch off and disconnect the device before cleaning.
• Remove coupling-gel residue and clean and disinfect patient-contact surfaces between clients.
• Keep liquids away from the console, ports, and electrical connections. Inspect cartridges and handpieces regularly and remove damaged components from service.
• Store and transport handpieces and cartridges at 10–30°C, as specified in the manual. Protect them from impact and freezing.
• After one hour of operation, switch off and allow a 10–15-minute rest, as instructed. Keep ventilation unobstructed and arrange repairs through authorized service personnel.
