3. Cleanse and prepare the treatment area according to the manufacturer’s protocol.
4. Select the appropriate facial or body handpiece. Apply the manufacturer-specified coupling medium, if required.
5. Set the protocol, intensity, and timer according to the operating manual and client assessment.
6. Apply the handpiece using the prescribed contact and movement technique. Monitor temperature and client comfort throughout application.
7. Stop immediately if excessive heat, pain, or an unexpected skin reaction occurs.
