US 3M Lite delivers high frequency mechanical sound waves through a treatment head and ultrasound coupling gel. Its 3 MHz frequency is intended for relatively superficial tissue applications.
Continuous operation produces a thermal effect, while pulsed operation interrupts energy delivery to reduce average exposure, depending on the selected settings.
The system includes a body and a facial handpiece.

Post-surgical care requires medical clearance and appropriately qualified providers. Do not use the device to diagnose a condition or promise accelerated healing. Results vary by client, condition, and protocol.

1. Inspect the control unit, cable, treatment head, and adapter before use.
2. With the equipment switched off, connect the calibrated treatment head and power cable as instructed.
3. Cleanse the treatment area and screen the client for contraindications.
4. When using the facial adapter, place coupling gel between the adapter and the main head, fit it as instructed, and remove excess gel.
5. Apply ultrasound gel generously to the skin to maintain complete acoustic contact.
6. Select the appropriate time, mode, and intensity according to the verified device instructions.
7. Establish full skin contact before activating ultrasound output.
8. Move the head continuously using slow circular or linear movements. Never hold it stationary over one point.
9. Monitor client comfort and skin response. Pause output before lifting the head, adding gel, or repositioning.
10. Stop for pain, excessive heat, or an unexpected reaction. Complete aftercare and clean the accessories.

Incorrect application can cause burns or tissue injury. Maintain sufficient conductive gel, full contact, and continuous handpiece movement.
Do not apply:
• Over the eyes or eyelids.
• Over open wounds.
• Over the heart, major blood vessels, brain, spinal cord, or reproductive organs.
• Over areas of known or suspected tumors, thrombophlebitis, active bleeding, or significant bleeding risk.
• Over active implanted electronic devices, including pacemakers or stimulators.
• Over metallic implants pending clarification of the conflicting manual instructions.
• Other contraindications include pregnancy, acute rheumatic conditions, growing cartilage, and children younger than 15.
• Do not use over areas with implants, intrauterine devices, recent surgery, or impaired sensation.
• Do not activate the handpiece in air. Overheating protection does not replace correct operation or client monitoring.

Switch off and disconnect the equipment before cleaning.
Remove gel residue from the head and facial adapter after each client. The manual specifies alcohol for head disinfection but does not state the concentration or contact time; obtain the approved cleaning protocol before selecting a disinfectant.
Keep liquids away from the control panel and connectors. Protect the treatment head from impact and do not immerse components unless specifically authorized.
Keep the underside ventilation opening clear. Operate in a well-ventilated treatment room within the manual’s stated environmental limits.
Use authorized servicing only. Replacement treatment heads require recalibration with the control unit.
